Jonathan DENIS-JACOB

Research Manager
Jonathan Denis-Jacob is currently the research manager of the Future Cities Laboratory in Singapore. He assists the programme director in ensuring the vibrancy and relevance of the research programme and FCL as a whole. He also leads projects and provides in-house urban planning and economics expertise.
Jonathan is an urban planner, real estate analyst and urban economist with professional experience in academia, the public sector and the consulting industry. Over the years, he worked on and/or managed nearly 100 urban planning, real estate and tourism studies, strategies and projects across Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Before joining FCL, Jonathan was an urban planner at the City of Vancouver, Canada where he managed the rezoning process for several major real estate development projects in its downtown core. Prior to that, he worked at the Canadian Tourism Commission, the City of Montreal and in the private sector.
He is fluent in French, English and Spanish and is currently working on his conversational Mandarin.
