Xiao Ping is a researcher and doctoral student at the Future Cities Laboratory working on the Ecosystem Services in Urban Landscapes project. His research looks at the costs and benefits provided by urban trees, with a focus on their cost-effectiveness for ecosystem service provision across time. His past research includes studies on plant physiological traits as well as the availability of photosynthetically active radiation for urban agriculture in Singapore.
