Yuzhen is a researcher and Doctoral student at ETH Zürich. She holds degrees in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and Information Engineering. Yuzhen was formerly a senior embedded engineer in a Danish company that is a global leader in related areas, where she also took the role of engineer responsible for projects in the company. She is experienced in controls, embedded software, hardware, applications, and product development.

Research

Yuzhen's main research focus is wireless sensing and advanced controls of building systems, which covers energy- and comfort-optimal reaction of distributed components for cooling, ventilation and dehumidification of buildings. She is also interested in the study of self-learning capabilities that allow building systems to adapt to the environment and the human user.
