Research Assistant of 3for2 Beyond Efficiency project
Lukas is a research assistant with the 3for2 project group at the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) in Singapore. The project’s goal is to provide a holistic building design concept, which increases energy and space use efficiency for office buildings in tropical climates. For his masters thesis, Lukas performed an economic feasibility study of the 3for2 concept, including a Life-Cycle-Cost-Benefit-Analysis and a qualitative evaluation of the system. After completing his master’s degree in August 2016, he re-joined the 3for2 team as a research assistant. He will keep investigating the economic feasibility of the 3for2 concept and work on the further development of the design.
Education
Lukas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) and a Masters degree in structural engineering and construction management from ETH Zurich.
