PhD Researcher of Multi-scale Energy Systems for Low Carbon Cities
Gabriel is PhD candidate at the Future Cities Laboratory working on the Multi-Scale Energy Systems for Low Carbon Cities (MuSES) project. He studied Energy Science & Technology (MSc) and Environmental Engineering (BSc) at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, where he also worked on electric utilities. He was a scientific assistant for renewable energies at a university of applied sciences primarily responsible for modelling, programming and simulating the performance of large photovoltaic power plants in complex environments.
Research
In the MuSES (Multi-Scale Energy Systems for Low Carbon Cities) project, Gabriel is responsible for thermal demand modelling part of the City Energy Analyst Tool and the integration of relevant sensor data into these models.
