Co-Principal Investigator of Big Data-Informed Urban Design
Rudi Stouffs is visiting associate professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Department of Architecture. He has been associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology since 2003. His research areas include computational design description, modelling, and representation. His teaching areas include computational design and performative design.
He obtained his PhD and MSc at Carnegie Mellon University and MSc at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He was the International Joint MSc Programme Coordinator for Computational Design and Fabrication Technologies in Architecture at TU Delft from 2008 to 2011. He was awarded the Vidi grant from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research in 2000.
