Patrick Janssen is associate professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Department of Architecture. His research areas include generative and evolutionary techniques in design, and computer aided environmental design. His teaching areas include digital design media, design studios and computer aided environmental design. Prior to his role at NUS, he was lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne. Patrick Janssen obtained his PhD in Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Masters in Cognitive Science and Intelligent Computing in the University of Westminster, UK.
